What does a DREAM twelve years in the making look What does a DREAM twelve years in the making look like? It looks a whole lot like this reel. Congrats 🎉 to our #Stormygirl for achieving her dream of becoming NM Associate Buyer, Handbags. Although “the dream” was simply to be a buyer, God saw fit to place her at Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX in 2017. We’re grateful for all the milestones she has achieved. And the opportunity she’s been granted. It takes 7-10 years of hard work and sacrifice to achieve buyer status. Stormy achieved it in under eight. But notice, I said twelve years in the making... It took four years of dreaming, planning, and working the plan just to land in a place where her dream could someday become a reality. And it all started with an idea over Christmas Break during her freshman year of college. So it’s not lost on me that we’d given her a handbag for Christmas which is now a brand she buys as a buyer. As 2024 winds down with all of its monumental challenges to love in a fallen, imperfect world, my hope and prayer is that all of us can love one another—and in all of life’s hardest places.
