How to Find Peace… [when peace seems evasive]

PEACE in this world is evasive… If we didn’t know it before, we certainly know it now. No matter how advanced our world may grow, lasting peace continues to elude us. The only peace to be found on earth is in the dwelling place of the God most high. 

“Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure places of rest.” – Isa. 32:18

I love these words by Corrie Ten Boom, “In darkness, God’s truth shines most clear.” 

And the TRUTH of the matter is an unrelenting enemy exists. An enemy who seeks to devour the citizenry of the earth. An enemy that will go to the ends of the earth to destroy us. An enemy of darkness and evil. But love overcomes darkness and LOVE wins in the battle of good and evil–end of story. LOVE is our weapon and God our Weapon-Maker.

We are victors in Christ, friends! When all seems lost and despair sets in, remember God’s promise of peace to those who trust in Him.

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.” John 14:27

If fear is crowding your thoughts, today, friend, you are not alone. Rest in the comfort of His peace. God alone is all we need. 🙏🏻💕
